Direct payment
SSE typically pays dividends twice yearly. Interim dividends are paid in March, and final dividends are paid in September once approved by shareholders at the AGM. All dividends are credited to a shareholder’s nominated bank/building society account.
Register your bank details today
In order to ensure receipt of dividends as soon payable and to avoid any re-issue fees, shareholders who have not already done so are encouraged to register their bank details with SSE’s registrar, Computershare Investor Service plc (“Computershare”) as soon as possible.
Shareholders can register or amend their UK bank/building society account details through the online Investor Centre , managed by Computershare. They will need to enter their Shareholder Reference Number (SRN), which can be found on any recent documentation issued by Computershare, and their postcode and follow the instructions to register/log in. Once logged in, shareholders can simply click on ‘My Profile’ at the top of the screen and then select ‘Banking Details’ to record or amend their bank details. Alternatively, shareholders can register or amend their bank details by contacting Computershare.
Shareholders who do not have a UK bank or building society account, can receive their dividend payments directly into a bank account outside of the UK using Computershare’s International Payment Service (IPS). For more information about IPS and applicable fees please click here. Shareholders can register for IPS through the online Investor Centre , or by contacting Computershare.
