As the winter months set in, one of the last things you want to happen is your boiler breaking down. Trying to get the heating and hot water back up and running can be very stressful not to mention, uncomfortable and a potentially expensive disruption to daily life.

That’s why SSE is here to help, giving its customers peace of mind this winter. At SSE we always do all we can to give customers value for money, and that’s exactly what we want to do this winter.

With Boiler Rescue, if your boiler breaks and you’re not covered, as an SSE customer you don’t need to worry. SSE will fix it for free when you take out a 12 months Gas Boiler Care or Gas Heating Care cover.

Broken boilers can result in households having to spend money that hasn’t been budgeted for - the average cost to fix a broken boiler is £344 (according to GoCompare*).

But if you’re an SSE customer you don’t need to worry. SSE Boiler Rescue is available exclusively to existing SSE customers who don’t already have cover. There’s no charge for the initial repair and it costs the same as our standard annual boiler cover.

If you’re unfortunate enough to have a boiler break down, we know how important it is to get daily life restored as quickly as possible; everyone needs hot showers and a warm home. Boiler rescue is just one of the ways SSE is here to help customers this winter.
