SSE Airtricity is giving gig-goers across Northern Ireland the chance to win a Golden Ticket to The SSE Arena, Belfast in 2017. The Golden Ticket consists of a pair of tickets to 12 shows of your choice.
The competition, the SSE Live Awards, is asking you to choose your favourite performance at any of SSE’s three venues in 2016 - The SSE Arena, Belfast, The SSE Hydro in Glasgow and The SSE Arena, Wembley.
When entering the online competition at ssereward.com, you will be asked to select your favourite show and submit your details, with one lucky winner drawn for each of the three venues. The winner will scoop the coveted prize of a pair of tickets for a dozen shows of their choice.
SSE Reward customers will be entered into a further draw to win entry to a VIP box for them and their friends at an upcoming show in 2017, also of their choice.
The SSE Live Awards have been launched on SSE Reward’s website and the deadline for entries is Tuesday 31st January. The winners across the three venues will be announced the following month. Multiple entries are permitted, but only one email address can be submitted per person.
In Belfast, the SSE Live Awards will also mark the successful transition from the Odyssey to The SSE Arena, Belfast. The 10-year naming rights agreement was unveiled in September 2015 and the venue also underwent a major refurbishment at the time.
In 2016, over 650,000 people attended a variety of shows at The SSE Arena, Belfast, including
comedy gigs, magic shows, musicals, and of course, pop and rock concerts. Among the
highlights were Adele’s sold-out double dates in February and March, magician Dynamo’s five-day run, prog rockers Muse and Neil Young’s debut Belfast gig.

The act with the most votes will be awarded SSE Live’s Gig of the Year.
