SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup draw

The second round draw in shinty’s 2015 SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup competition was made this morning in Inverness at the new Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club shop.  Making the draw were Inverness Caley Thistle Under 20s Coach and former Lochaber shinty player, Duncan Shearer, and club captain, Richie Foran.  The second round is the point at which teams from the Marine Harvest Premiership enter the SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup competition.

The draw brought about some mouth-watering ties, due to be played on Saturday 30 May 2015:

  • SKYE v BEAULY
  • FORT WILLIAM v KINGUSSIE
  • LOCHABER v NEWTONMORE
  • LOVAT v CABERFEIDH
  • GLENURQUHART v INVERARAY
  • GLASGOW MID ARGYLL v BUTE
  • OBAN CAMANACHD v INVERNESS
  • KINLOCHSHIEL v KYLES ATHLETIC

The SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup is shinty’s greatest prize and one of Scotland’s oldest and most iconic sporting trophies.  The 2015 SSE Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final – shinty’s BIG day out! - will be played at Mossfield Stadium in Oban on Saturday 19 September 2015.
