Unleashing business growth is the theme of this year’s Growing Something Brilliant conference hosted by NI Chamber, SSE Airtricity and First Trust Bank.  The conference, which will take place at Titanic Belfast on 19 May 2015, is aimed at current or potential exporters and features keynote speaker Andy Bruce, Group Chief Executive of Lookers. With an annual turnover of over £3 billion, Lookers operates a national network of car dealerships, featuring a wide range of car makes, including the volume brands Vauxhall and Renault, amongst others.

Also for the first time since the initial Growing Something Brilliant conference in 2013, overseas regional experts from China, Slovakia, Poland and India will provide information and advice on the opportunities available in their respective countries.

A panel of industry experts comprising Owen Brennan, Executive Chairman at Devenish Nutrition; Patrick Joy, Director at Suretank Group and Elaine Patterson, Sales Director at Ulster Carpets, will also reveal how their companies have achieved unrivalled success in export markets.

Speaking at the launch, SSE Airtricity Gas NI General Manager, Andrew Greer, commented; "At SSE Airticity, we're extremely proud to be supporting the Chamber’s ‘Growing Something Brilliant’ conference for the third successive year.

"This conference is a great opportunity for business leaders in Northern Ireland to engage with government and senior economists on the key challenges facing them and the steps that business want to see taken that will enable them to grow."
