A significant number of customers have seen their power restored since first light. There are now 9,800 customers off supply.
Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution is hoping to reduce this number substantially in the next few hours.
The main areas still without power are:

| Inverness-shire | 2900 |
| Rural areas around Dingwall | 1500 |
The rest are in pockets dotted around the Highlands.
So far SHEPD has restore around 100,000 customers since the beginning of the storm on late Thursday night/early Friday morning.
