Our Contracting team delivered for Westfield, the £1.2bn shopping and leisure development in London. As big as 30 football pitches, Utilities were fundamental to finishing the whole project on time. In just 12 short months: we installed 15km of cabling – including a fibre network to allow remote control of the entire power system; we built 24 new substations and provided a local gas network. But the most important part was that we delivered this project with zero safety incidents on site - not to mention being on time and bang on budget.
But our successes don’t stop there, we’ve been at the heart of one of the biggest urban regeneration projects in the UK – Glasgow Harbour, where we delivered everything from the high voltage connections, domestic connections and gas network, through to the legal, compliance and smart financial structures.
Our Energy Solutions business installed the energy management system for the prestigious London Aquatic Centre, providing total control and monitoring of water management, air conditioning, lighting and energy usage.
