SSE Enterprise Contracting’s work as part of the PriDE joint venture for the Ministry of Defence has been recognised by the Energy Institute.
Every year, the Energy Institute Awards recognise individuals and organisations in the global energy industry for setting new standards of excellence and innovation in their daily activities. On 13 November, the Energy Institute held its annual Awards ceremony in London to recognise excellence within the global energy sector. News anchor and broadcaster Huw Edwards hosted the event and presented the winners with their trophies.
This year, the award for Energy Excellence was presented to the Ministry of Defence – Defence Infrastructure Organisation and Partners for its Energy Spend to Save programme 2011-2014. SSE Enterprise Contracting plays a pivotal role in this contract as part of the PriDE joint venture.
SSE Enterprise Contracting is a 50% partner in the PriDE Joint Venture, a business responsible for estate management and construction services of over 4,000 Ministry of Defence assets through the South East region.
Eunice Mabey, Regional Energy and Environment Manager, collected the award on behalf of PriDE and is pictured above receiving the award.
