SSE Airtricity Gas NI’s Christina Martindale takes second spot at the UK National Contact Centre Awards

SSE Airtricity Gas NI’s Christina Martindale has taken second place at the UK National Contact Centre Awards under the UK Customer Service Manager of the year category.
The awards ceremony, which took place on the 15th May at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London, recognised individuals who have helped their call centres to provide outstanding service over the last 12 months.
Christina and fellow SSE Airtricity Gas NI colleague, Madeline Saggers were both shortlisted earlier this month for the UK awards, which is now in its 20th year. Both Christina and Madeline were nominated by their colleagues in Dublin, following an outstanding year for the Belfast based customer service team, which saw major customer service improvements across a number of areas.
SSE Airtricity Gas NI Customer Service Manager, Christina said: “The awards have an excellent reputation within the industry for their extremely high standards, so it was a real honour to be in the final, especially considering how competitive the field was. Both the interview and assessment process were extremely tough, however getting to the final and taking second place is a testament to all the hard work that’s been done over the last year throughout SSE Airtricity Gas NI.”
