Paralympic silver medallist Libby Clegg recently spent a day with SSE employees in Cumbernauld, and helped to raise funds for Sport Relief by getting involved with a silent auction, a bake sale and a raffle.

SSE is an official partner of Sport Relief this year, helping raise millions for vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK and across the world.

Some of the UK’s top sportsmen and women joined staff across SSE sites to take part in Sport Relief challenges.

Olympic hurdler Eilidh Child, boxer Michael Conlan, cyclist Becky James, heptathlete Katarina Johnson Thompson and Paralympians Aled Davies and Jade Jones were others who helped staff to raise thousands for the charity.

All money raised by Sport Relief goes to help vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK and across the world, giving them a helping hand to turn their lives around.

SSE’s award-winning Portsmouth customer service centre was one of the official Sport Relief call-centres with staff volunteering to give up their Friday night to take donations from the public.
