There are 100 days to go before the starting gun is fired for the Commonwealth Games.
To celebrate the occasion organisers have painted a giant ‘100’ on the grass of Hampden Park, which is being transformed into a track and field venue for the games.
And as an official partner of Glasgow 2014, SSE is providing customers with the chance to win tickets to events and upgrade opportunities through the SSE Reward programme.
The company is also proud to back sports stars of the future with its SSE Next Generation programme - providing vital financial support for 50 young athletes across the UK.
The youngsters, aged between 11-20, have been identified as potential Commonwealth Games medallists.
SSE is giving each athlete £1,000 a year for four years to help with training, travelling to competitions and buying sports equipment.
The help at an early stage in their careers aims to ease some of the financial headaches of being an elite athlete.
