Commenting on Ofgem's statutory consultation on liquidity in the wholesale energy market, a spokesman for SSE said:
"SSE welcomes the proposals outlined by Ofgem in its statutory consultation today. We have led the industry on improving liquidity in the market and support effective action which helps to achieve that aim. We now need to take time to assess the full detail of the proposals but look forward to working with Ofgem to deliver changes that help improve the market and ultimately benefit customers."
