The ever changing weather in the UK impacts SSE customers in lots of different ways from transport and clothing decisions to holiday activity choices but the question on most people’s minds is 'how much will it affect my energy usage?'
SSE’s meteorologist will be occasionally tweeting from their Twitter channel @SSE about important weather changes that may merit a customer turning their heating on or off and potentially helping some customers to reduce their energy usage.
Simon Cardy, Meteorologist for SSE said:
“Weather is a great talking point and a subject that interests many of us. The weather impacts us all in our day to day life and it is especially important to an energy company like SSE.
“It's likely to become increasingly important in terms of renewable energy and potential global warming/climate change and we want to keep our customers up to date with any changes that may affect them”.
