Scottish Hydro, part of SSE, gave the pupils of Aultmore Park Primary School in Glasgow the opportunity to build their very own bee garden last week, specially designed with flowers to attract bees.

The project is designed to teach pupils about sustainability, one of Scottish Hydro’s core values, and the importance of bees to our environment.

Staff from Scottish Hydro joined the pupils as part of the company’s Community at Heart scheme, a community volunteering project that encourages their 22,000 employees to take a day out of their typical working life to support community projects.
