Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission Limited (SHETL) is developing a new high voltage electricity transmission connection from the Kintyre Peninsula in Argyll to the existing mainland transmission network at Hunterston in North Ayrshire.
In May 2012 SHETL will be conducting site investigations in the area. If you wish to ask any questions about the investigations or the proposal, please send an email to Deborah Bowie.
Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission owns and maintains the 132kV and 275kV electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland, in some of the UK's most challenging terrain.
