Dounreay-Beauly

The Dounreay to Beauly project is an upgrade and reinforcement of the existing electricity transmission network between Dounreay, Caithness and Beauly. The line was built in the late 1960s to transmit the energy generated by the now decommissioned Dounreay Nuclear Power Station to the south of Scotland.
