Located near Strathy village, Sutherland, this wind farm, which is also near Gordonbush, will comprise of 33 turbines over an area of around 950 hectares within Strathy North Forest.
This project received consent from Scottish Ministers in November 2011 and is anticipated to enter construction mid-2013.
Wind turbines produce electricity by using the natural power of the wind to drive a generator.
