Carcant wind farm
SSE Renewables, the renewable energy development division of Scottish and Southern Energy, is  constructing a three turbine wind farm at Carcant in the Scottish Borders. Construction commenced in June 2009 and is due to complete in Summer 2010.

Once finished, Carcant will generate enough renewable electricity to power around 4,800 homes.
