Bracco wind farm
SSE Renewables, formerly known as Airtricity, the renewable energy development division of Scottish and Southern Energy, has submitted a planning application to North Lanarkshire Council for a seven turbine 21MW wind farm at Nether Bracco.
The submission of the application follows detailed consultation with local residents, community councils, councillors and the MSP. If approved, Bracco wind farm could generate enough renewable electricity to power around 16,700 homes a year.
