Birnie Hill wind farm
SSE Renewables, the renewable energy development division of Scottish and Southern Energy, submitted a planning application to North Lanarkshire Council in December 2007 for a three turbine 4.5MW wind farm at Birnie Hill.

Further to a request from Scottish Natural Heritage, we submitted a new Landscape and Visual Assessment on 15 July 2009.
