Chaorach hydro power station
Our generation business, Scottish and Southern Energy Generation Ltd (SSEG), submitted a planning application for a 2MW run of river hydro-electric power station at Chaorach, east of Crianlarich. Planning consent was granted in December 2008 and construction is due to begin late Summer 2010.
