Governance and the role of the Board
We continue to commit to the highest standards of corporate governance and have due regard to continuing developments in this field. Our Corporate Governance statement explains our approach to corporate governance in detail by describing:

We believe corporate governance is the best way to to ensure SSE is a consistently successful, well-run and responsible business, capable of delivering increases in the dividend payable to shareholders in the short, medium and long term.
